Michal Barwicki will take part in a debate on AI at the 5th Lendtech Congress
On September 25, 2024, the public is invited to Warsaw for a debate on artificial intelligence in the lending industry with the participation of Michal Barwicki, which will take place as part of the fifth edition of the Lendtech Congress.
Michal Barwicki will be the expert co-leader of the debate entitled. “AI Act: Is the credit risk assessment system high-risk AI?”.
Together with Piotr Biegun – Chief Operating Officer of Algolytics Technologies, during the live discussion they will talk about how to prepare from the legal and regulatory side in financial organizations for the changes related to the guidelines resulting from the AI Act, as well as what to pay attention to from the technical side of the solutions used.
The Lendtech Congress is an important event of the modern finance industry, bringing together experts, business representatives and industry developers. The debates and presentations of this year’s edition are accompanied by the theme “Time and quality”.
The topics of the other debates:
- Digital lending – the industry’s first year after major regulatory changes since the beginning of the lendtech industry.
- BNPL – the regulatory environment of BNPL, the prospect of growth or the specter of deceleration, the quality of the borrowers’ portfolio.

The event will feature the premiere of the Polish Lendtech Map – the largest and only listing of entities operating in the digital lending market and in the lendtech ecosystem, i.e. lending institutions, banks, fintechs, IT companies, BNPL, law firms, companies specializing in AI, cyber security, payments, marketing.
Special awards will also be presented for contributions to the development of the digital lending ecosystem, outstanding achievements and significant positive impact on the development of the lendtech sector in Poland – Lendtech Awards.
The event is organized by the Lendtech Foundation and the Polish Association of Lending Institutions.
