Michal Barwicki an expert in the debate on digital transformation in the financial sector

Attorney at law Michal Barwicki has joined the group of experts who will participate in the debate ‘What is and how to achieve DORA compliance’. The event in online format is scheduled for 29 February 2024.

The aim of the conference is to familiarise participants with the key issues related to the DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) Regulation, which imposes a number of requirements on financial institutions to manage ICT risks.

During his presentation, Attorney Barwicki will discuss the impact of DORA on the financial market. As part of this topic, he will address the following issues:

• ICT risk management requirements,
• classification and reporting of ICT incidents,
• testing digital operational resilience,
• third-party risk management,
• The practical impact of DORA’s entry for financial market operators.
• The other speakers are practitioners who will explain the relevance of DORA for the financial sector and present the practical aspects of its implementation in business.
