MORE DIFFICULTIES TO OBTAIN REGISTRATION IN THE REGISTER OF SMALL PAYMENT INSTITUTIONS (SPI)

It is high time to familiarise yourself with the key changes for small payment institutions (SPI) and national payment institutions (NPI), which have been prepared by legal counsel Monika Macura in our blog.

The amendment will change the rules for applying for registration in the register of small payment institutions (SPI) and, in some cases, for authorisation for SPI to operate as national payment institutions (NPI).

The new regulations also tighten the responsibility of managers on the side of payment service providers. The new regulations regarding SPIs will apply to both entities currently applying for entry into the register and those already holding this status.

We invite you to read the article 'Changes in the Payment Services Act from 29 September 2023', as well as our full range of payment services support.
